Welcome Division Chief Aaron Ward!

The Guadalupe County Professional Firefighters Association welcomes Division Chief Aaron Ward to Guadalupe County Fire Rescue.

As the collective voice of the professional firefighters serving Guadalupe County, we recognize the importance of strong leadership, open communication, and a shared commitment to the safety of our members and the community we serve.

We look forward to building a positive and productive working relationship with Chief Ward as we continue advocating for our members, promoting professionalism within the fire service, and working collaboratively to address the challenges and opportunities facing our department.

The Association remains committed to fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and cooperation, and we are optimistic about the future under Chief Ward’s leadership.

We wish Chief Ward success in his new role and look forward to working together for the benefit of our firefighters, our department, and the citizens of Guadalupe County.

Today marks the 5-year anniversary of the line of duty death of Firefighter Roger Dean III.

The Guadalupe County Professional Firefighters Association paid our respects in his honor. Flowers were hand delivered to Seguin Central Fire Station #1 in remembrance of his life, service, and sacrifice.

“Non sibi sed omnibus” — Not for self, but for all.

We will never forget the dedication he showed to his community. Our thoughts and prayers remain with his family, friends, and the entire Seguin Fire Department.

Forever remembered. Always honored.

On Monday, a Plaque of Commendation was proudly presented to the Navarro Ranch Community HOA in recognition of their continued generosity and partnership with the Guadalupe County Professional Firefighters Association.

Their ongoing monthly support plays a meaningful role in helping us serve our community, support our firefighters, and continue the work we do both on and off the job. Partnerships like this are what make our mission stronger.
