The deadline to RSVP for the Navarro FFA Banquet was Friday, May 1st. We have noticed many of our members who have either attended in the past or have been involved in FFA activities this year have not yet RSVPed. We have a deadline to turn in a meal count to our caterer and it is tomorrow, so if you have not yet RSVPed and are planning to attend, ESPECIALLY if you are wanting to eat, please take care of that BEFORE 9 am tomorrow (May 4th). https://forms.gle/F6BTW4m1hkVt7iBf6

Last Saturday the remainder of our CDE teams competed in their Area contests and THREE more Navarro FFA teams qualified for STATE!

🔹Horse Evaluation team — 1st in District, 4th in Area & STATE QUALIFIERS!
Team Members: Brody Bruening, Cheyanne Kuhlman (11th place individual in Area!), Shiloh Purdum & Ellery Sims

🔸Floriculture Evaluation team — 2nd in District, 6th in Area & STATE QUALIFIERS!
Team Members: Cash Backus, Harley Frost (8th place individual in Area!), Sandy Roger’s & Lucy Seibert

🔹Livestock Evaluation team — 3rd in District, 7th in Area & STATE QUALIFIERS!
Team Members: Isabella Hartman, Hailee Munk, Avery Sisak (1st place Individual in Area!) & Peyton Sisak (6th place individual in Area!)

Congratulations to our Horse Evaluation (Judging) team on their 1st place finish today at the Uvalde FFA/Southwest Texas College contest!

Additionally, Shiloh Purdum was High Point Individual today!

Team members competing today were Baylor Brown (8th High Individual!), Brody Bruening, Cheyanne Kuhlman, Shiloh Purdum and Ellery Sims.

This was the team’s last practice contest before our Area contest this Saturday.

Navarro FFA Farm & Agribusiness Management Team qualifies for STATE!

On Thursday members of our Farm & Agribusiness Management team competed in the Area VII FFA contest held at Sam Houston State University. The team placed SECOND, only 1 point behind the first place team, which qualifies them for STATE!

This contest also determined the team’s District placing and they are the 2026 Guadalupe Valley FFA District CHAMPIONS!

Team members competing were:
Rylan Trost — 3rd High Individual in Area, 2nd in District
Austin Rodriguez — 7th In Area, 3rd in District
Carter Alyea — 11th in Area, 5th in District
Victor Parra — 14th in Area, 6th in District

The team will compete at the STATE contest, back in Huntsville, in two weeks!

Great job Panthers!
