Just in time for Father’s Day giving .

Meet Roy Odom with True Turnings.
Roy is one of our vendors for the Elks Lodge craft show Saturday June 20.

Creativity has shaped my life from the very beginning. I started out (as so many of us did) doing macrame, then transitioned into stained glass, silver jewelry, and, for 48 years, pottery. After selling the house and being gifted with a lathe, I became fascinated with wood art - turning pens, bottle stoppers, sewist's tools, bowls, and specialty ornaments. Discovering resin on wood and all that it allowed was added to the mix, and life for this 78-year-old just keeps getting blessed with more and more of what creativity can provide.

For our community!!! We have a community pantry in the front of our building. It gets used on a regular basis. However, right now it is not big enough to hold all we have to offer. If anyone is in need of a little help, we will have an open house for the pantry on June 27th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. There are non-perishables, personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies. Come on out and see if we can help you in any way.
