This year, Girl Scouts are represented by “The Supergirls,” a team of six-year old Girl Scout Daisies from Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma who invented a battery-powered page turner for people with arthritis, people who are paralyzed, or paraplegics.

Come Celebrate National S'mores Day! The Guadalupe Valley Service Unit of Girl Scouts of the USA is throwing a s'more party on Friday Aug. 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Seguin Girl Scout House located at 216 East Humphreys St. Any girl interested in finding out more about Girl Scouts is welcome to join the fun including roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, campfire songs, and s'more crafts.
