Important Notice!

Just a reminder, if you plan on coming to the Bluebonnet Horse Expo and Rescue Horse Training Challenge, Saturday October 3rd at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor, Texas, dogs are not allowed.

Now we love dogs. Our insurance company said no to dogs, and insurance is important, so we must ask you to leave your adorably furry friend at home. And make sure to tell them how sorry I am that I won't get to see them!

Aramis’ Ideal Home
Aramis is seeking a handler with soft hands with whom he can bond. He thrives on routine. He will nicker to remind you he is waiting, and he happily walks in from the back pasture when you call his name for feed time.
Ideal Rider & Temperament
His ideal partner is a confident, consistent intermediate rider who uses light, gentle cues. Aramis is highly intelligent, patient, and learns fast. He responds beautifully to leg pressure without rushing or speeding up.
He is a dependable, “been there, done that” horse with zero bucking, spooking, shying, or bolting. He adapts to new environments with very little worry.
Proven Exposure
• Trails: Confident! Crosses water and will walk into the lake.
• Arenas/Playdays: Well-mannered and responsive in busy environments.
• Obstacles: navigates new challenges if you have patience.
Pasture & Stall Manners
• Turnout: has been mostly in the pasture but stays quiet and well-behaved stalled.
• Herd Dynamics: Quickly established himself as the Alpha over both geldings and mares.
• Behavior: Does not mount mares and is perfectly content to do his own thing as a loner when he chooses. Loading is an area where Aramis is still developing as he is so small he wants to turn around but he is getting better. He has developed strong feelings for Sestra (BEHS adoptee) and is a bit anxious on trail if she gets too far or out of sight but could care less about other horses.

Ultimately, Aramis would be on my list to adopt as he is the right size, smart, will go slow but not lazy. Aramis is a seasoned, and a sweet natured horse.
