I ask kids who’s your favorite player? What’s your favorite team? And they respond with “I don’t know” or “I don’t have one”.

If there’s no passion for any sport or anything in life, kids fall out and quit very quickly. It’ll feel like a task rather than something they can do freely.

Once that love is there, it’ll be easier for them when adversity strikes, and they have to push themself to reach a new level. Instead of giving up they’ll endure the difficult moves and heavy breathing during conditioning.
