Hiring: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about swimming and would be interested in instructing different ages from infants to adults. It is a rewarding action to be a part of. The schedule is very flexible and can be worked into anyone’s lifestyle. We offer different levels and styles of courses including morning, daytime and evening classes. PAY THE DAY. If you’ve been thinking of joining the YMCA, now is a good time to do it. Through October 31st, you can take advantage of a “Pay the Day” promotion. Instead of the regular joiner fee, you’ll pay the day – join on October 1st, and you’ll only pay a $1 joiner fee; on October 15th, you’ll pay only a $15 joiner fee. The earlier you join, the more you save.

Pick-Up Basketball Keeps Action Hopping!
Newman YMCA offers adult pick-up basketball games on Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30pm-2:00pm.
Games are pick-up and called by the players. Good sportsmanship is a must.
The program is FREE to members and $10 per visit for the community.

Research by the National Institutes of Health has proven that programs like the YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program can reduce the number of cases of type 2 diabetes by nearly 60%.


The YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program provides a supportive environment where participants work together in a small group to learn about healthier eating and increasing their physical activity in order to reduce their risk for developing diabetes.
