Seekonk Land Trust

The Seekonk Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the distinctive landscapes and natural resources in the Town of Seekonk.

The Seekonk Land Conservation Trust in partnership with the Trustees of Reservations manages over 250 acres of open and forested land in Seekonk and has aided landowners in placing Conservation and Agricultural Restrictions on another 250 acres of land. Founded in 1967 by Mary Wilson and other foresighted Seekonk citizens, the land trust has been preserving undeveloped land and sponsoring environm

ental education both in the schools and library for over 45 years. Both the Cushing Reserve on Chestnut Street and the Edna Martin Reserve on Rt 114 across from the Grist Mill have trails and are open to the public.

The Land Trust is seeking a part-time Stewardship Coordinator.
Responsibilities include implementing stewardship programs for our properties, documenting site visits, and working with SLCT Board, volunteers, and partner organizations.
