The 2026 Spring Youth Forum showcased the Concrete Prevention Posse's dedication to fostering Positive Childhood Experiences. Their achievement as finalists among 40 teams highlights the importance of youth engagement in community initiatives. We also celebrated Youth Recognition Night, honoring exceptional young people in our community, and expressed gratitude to the Concrete School District staff for their commitment. As we prepare for Concrete Youth Activity Day, we encourage community involvement and taking our community survey to help enhance local resources.

We had roughly 47 6th-12th graders join us for the Concrete Prevention Posse’s 2nd annual teen flashlight egg hunt. Watching the teens having fun was a highlight for all of the adults. As one parent said, “It was magical.” A big thanks to Stephanie, Gabe, Tabitha, George, and Dylan for setting up. We can't wait to do it again next year.

The Concrete Resource Coalition uses data to help guide the programs and strategies we implement in the community. We use a variety of data sources, but our primary source for what adults want to see in our community is our Community Survey. This survey is open to anyone 18+ who lives or works in East Skagit County. It only takes about 5 minutes to complete and greatly supports our mission. Thank you.
