✨ “What limits can I lay upon God's Son?” ✨

This lesson is about our brother.

If God created our brother limitless, how could we possibly limit him?
• It's like saying, "I'm going to shrink the sun with my hands."

Instead of imagining limits placed on our brother, we should acknowledge his limitlessness.

What does that look like in practical terms?
• It looks like giving him "honor." It's as simple as that.

Do we honor the people we encounter?

Do they feel honored by us?

That, this lesson says, is how we find the way to God. 🕊️

What does this lesson mean?

• It means that the true nature of all things is already free.
• The underlying reality of everything is pure freedom.
• And if everything is free, then surely it is only a matter of time before we find our freedom.

There is a famous saying of the Indian sage Ramana Maharshi, in which someone asked him about grace and he said:

“You are neck-deep in water and yet cry for water.”

We are neck-deep in freedom and yet wonder if we will ever be free. 🕊️

✨ “If I am bound, my Father is not free.” ✨

This lesson doesn't explicitly say that we cannot be bound.

It leaves open that possibility—on one condition:
• If we are bound, then God is too.

Think about that specifically:
• If you are truly bound in your situation at work, then God is bound too.
• If you are truly bound in your primary relationship, then God is bound too.

Conversely, if God cannot be bound—and of course He cannot—then it is impossible for you to be bound by anything. 🕊️

✨ “Let me not bind Your Son with laws I made.” ✨

This lesson describes a progression in understanding our sense of being bound by physical laws:

• First, we recognize how deeply we feel limited by the body—by gravity, hunger, fatigue, illness, and ultimately death.
• Next, we realize that these “laws” were not established by God but are self-made, arising from a part of the mind that seeks to hide our divine freedom.
• Finally, we understand that these laws have no real power over us and can be seen as empty rituals.

While we still attend to bodily needs, we can begin to affirm our deeper, God-given freedom and remember that the true Christ-self within us remains untouched by what the body’s eyes perceive. 🕊️

✨ “The Word of God is given me to speak.” ✨

If you have seen the movie The Princess Bride, you probably remember the part where every time Westley said "As you wish," he was really saying "I love you."

Today's lesson evokes a similar idea.

Every time we say anything to anyone, we should really be saying:

“You are God's Son, you are pure, and you are holy as Himself.”

Can we try to do that, just for one day? 🕊️
