Rotary Club of Sedona Village

Rotary Club of Sedona Village Rotary Club of Sedona Village was granted its Charter in 2018 and currently has 31 members. The club was chartered as The Rotary Club of Sedona Village in 2018.

The Rotary Club of Sedona Village Satellite launched September 22, 2016. There are several programs and projects each year, which include a community garden, youth scholarships, international youth exchange, raising funds to support comfort services at the VA Hospital in Prescott, various community clean up and other projects. There are two annual fund raisers, 100 Holes in a Day and a Grocery Grab that provide for a Charitable Fund to fund the clubs charitable projects.

Join Us for the 2026 Oak Creek Cleanup!

The Rotary Club of Sedona Village invites local residents to help keep Oak Creek clean and beautiful.

🕢 Meet at 7:30 a.m.
📍 Baldwin Trail parking lot, at the end of the dirt-road portion of Verde Valley School Road

Rotary will provide cleanup tools and buckets. Please dress appropriately, bring plenty of water, and remember that a Red Rock Pass is required for parking.

Kids are in the second day of rehearsal for the show Peter & Wendy, brought to Sedona by Missoula Children's Theatre. 57 kids from grades 1 - 12 came and have been cast in various parts.

“Comfortable being Uncomfortable” was the theme of club member, Jon Linford’s program at the July 16th meeting. He told the story about taking a group of boys on a hike of the “50 mile” Highline Trail along the Mogollon Rim in Arizona. (Turned out to be a 63-mile hike.) The point of the effort was to take them out of their comfort zone and give them confidence that they can do more than they realize.

In addition to that story, he showed pictures of he and his wife rappelling to the Keyhole Cave and spoke a bit about rappelling.

Rotary District Governor, Joe Sweeney, attended the Village Rotary Installation Breakfast to Install the 2026-2027 officers. Many awards were given to members and guests. Among the guest awards were two Honorary Rotarian Awards given to Alix Schaefer and Heather Isom. Bierman Contracting Company was named Village Rotary Business of the year. Mark and Roni Cowell received a Paul Harris Fellow Medallion for their contributing scholarships to Rotary's Youth Leadership camp and Sister Cities International Leadership Summit. Member Rob Schaefer and wife Alix were recognized for their generous joint gift of a designated fund to support the club’s future projects and operations.
