Quinton was a staff and volunteer favorite around here, and now he's a favorite in his very own family!

This cutie has been adopted and is living the good life! His family tells us Quinton gets along wonderfully with his brother Jax. He is so smart and affectionate!

Isn't this the cutest pair ever!? We just love happy endings! Thank you so much for adopting Quinton!! We love to see that smile! ❤

Our Free Community Open House is coming up this Saturday from 10am-1pm! 🎉🐾

We are blown away by the generosity of our local businesses who donated to our silent auction for the event! Each day we will feature a couple silent auction items so you can plan ahead on what you want to bid on when you stop by!

Radical Rebounding with Rachel donated a WEEK's worth of classes and various rebound merchandise for you to enjoy. Rebounding is all the rage (and for good reason!), and Rachel has classes to offer all ages and experience levels! Have some fun and sweat it out!

The Artist's Kitchen Shop in Tlaquepaque is an award-winning kitchen store! It's Arizona’s largest Polish Pottery collection, plus curated kitchenware, tableware, and artisan gifts from around the world. Every time we go in, we find something we didn't know we needed - and we know you will too! Bid on a $100 gift card and a fun cutting board to boot!

Look at the big, beautiful personality coming at ya! 😍

Millie has had a few meet and greets lately, which is really good to see! We know you've been helping us share her story, but we need a little more Tinkerbell clapping to help her be seen and saved! 👏

She's spent quite a while here at the shelter, and the more people who see her story and her beautiful face, the better chance she has at being adopted!

Millie is not only gorgeous, but she is also so full of life! She has the biggest, happiest spirit - sometimes she can't contain it! She loves to play and will get this wild sparkle in her eyes before she breaks into full zoomies!

She can be pretty high energy, but it comes in short bursts. She settles down quickly, especially if you give her some good scratches. She LOVES to be scratched by her little floppy ears. It's like it instantly soothes her ❤️

Millie is a smart girl. She responds well to training - which we've been working on here. She would do best in a child-free home with no other animals, with a family who would continue to train her and keep her wild side active!

We have seven adorable German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix puppies here at the shelter, and we are OBSESSED!! 😍

We’ve only had them a short time, and it’s so fun to see all of their little distinct personalities starting to develop!

We’re introducing you to Bella and Xena today. These two sisters are equally as darling, but very different from each other!

Bella, with the big ears, loves to play and will romp around all day showing off all her toys! The ones that squeak are the best.

Xena on the other hand, just wants to be held and petted. She’s playful too, but she would definitely rather be playing for your attention than a squeaky toy.

The puppies are just about three months old. They are all fixed microchips and working their way through their vaccine series. Stay tuned to our social media to meet the other five from the group!

Another sweet adoption update coming at you tonight!

Spuds was adopted from us about a year ago and is just loving her new life! She is now Wiley because she resembles and acts like a coyote. Her family says she is such a smart dog and a joy to be around. Her long fluffy tail curls over her back. People always comment on her unique look!

We love to see this! She looks so happy and beautiful in her new home. Thank you so much for giving her such a wonderful life! 🙏

Who's a good boy? Rocky is a good boy!! 😍

Rocky is a gorgeous 1 year old lab mix who is ready to light up your life! He was recently surrendered to us when his family's living situation changed and they could not take him with them. Rocky is a spunky guy - still really a puppy! He loves to play, and fetch is his favorite (although he doesn't always want to give the ball back 😂)

This beautiful boy comes from a home with children, cats, and another dog and it's reported he got along well with everyone! We always recommend a meet and greet with your family to make sure everyone is compatible. But Rocky has gotten along well with everyone he meets here!

He is a young guy and still has some puppy energy. Rocky can be a little rambunctious and would definitely benefit from a little more training. He already knows how to "sit" and is a smart cookie. He is working on his leash skills here and would love a family who will keep both his body and mind active!

If you're interested in this special boy, we'd love for you to meet him! His adoption fee is waived now through August 31st as part of Clear the Shelters!

It’s International Cat Day and little guy, Charles would like to say hello! 👋

This cutie started out super shy, but he has really come into his own! Charles has learned that people aren’t scary and playtime is really fun! He’s only about 3 months old and is a pretty small guy. But he makes up for his size in energy and spirit! 🥰

It's Feel Good Friday! And we have a great story to share.

Another one of our long-stay resident doggies, Barney, has been spending time in a foster home 🎉

This is the first time Barney's had extended stay in a home environment and he is doing so well!

His foster family says he's settling into home life beautifully and proving just what an incredible companion he truly is.

Here's what they've discovered:
🛋️ He's claimed the couch as his favorite place to relax.
🚗 He loves car rides (and is getting more confident every day!).
🛁 Bubble baths? One of his favorite things!
🎶 Zen music and lavender aromatherapy? He's all about the relaxing vibes.
🏡 He's completely potty trained and has been the perfect houseguest—no chewing, no getting into things, just a happy, well-mannered gentleman.
🍽️ He's happily eating his meals twice a day and soaking up all the love.

His foster family says: He deserves a really amazing home. He's better than you could ever imagine." ❤️

This is exactly why foster homes are so important. They help dogs like Barney show everyone who they are outside of the shelter—and Barney is proving that he's more than ready for a family of his own.

Now all he needs is someone to give him the forever home he's been waiting so patiently for.
