☀️Introducing Sedona's Heat Relief Station!☀️

Extreme heat can be dangerous, and we're committed to helping keep our community safe.

Hope House of Sedona, in partnership with the Sedona Fire District, is launching a Heat Relief Station at Posse Grounds Park on designated Extreme Heat Days. The station will provide a safe place to cool down, hydrate, and connect with available community resources.

Because the station is only activated on Extreme Heat Days, be sure to follow our page for daily updates on:
• Station activation
• Hours of operation
• Available resources
• Other important heat safety information

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post. Together, we can make sure everyone in our community knows where to find relief when temperatures become dangerous.

Our Rooted in Hope 5-Year Anniversary Celebration was a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without our sponsors, silent auction donors, community partners, volunteers, vendors, and everyone who attended, donated, and cheered us on.

Hope House of Sedona is seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-In Volunteer Attendant to support our housing program for women and children experiencing homelessness.

This unique volunteer trade position includes:
• Free private furnished bedroom with en-suite bathroom
• Access to shared food and kitchen
• Ability to maintain outside employment
• Meaningful, community-centered work

The role includes night and weekend onsite coverage, helping support household safety, responding to urgent situations, and helping maintain a calm and supportive living environment for families.

We are looking for someone who:
• Is comfortable in a communal living environment
• Is calm, dependable, and compassionate
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Understands boundaries and trauma-informed care
• Wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children

Training is provided, including Trauma-Informed Care, CPR/First Aid, Food Handlers, and Overdose Prevention.

This is a one-year volunteer commitment with potential for renewal. Retired individuals are encouraged to apply.

Female applicants only due to the shared living environment and population served.

Hope House of Sedona (HHOS) is a comprehensive housing program for women and children in the greater Sedona area. We believe that homelessness is often temporary and can be overcome through personal healing, educational support, housing, and employment opportunities.

A few beautiful silent auction treasures were still under wraps when we shared our last preview!

The silent auction will include at least **seven photographs, paintings, and other art pieces**, along with unique home and furniture accessories. Some pieces are still a mystery until event day, which makes the auction even more fun.

Join us at **Rooted in Hope** this Saturday and come see what local creativity and generosity have made possible.

Every bid helps provide safe housing, support, and stability for mothers and children in our community.
