We appreciate the large collection of books on botanical and gardening topics!

The library is open every Saturday morning from 8-11am. We'll have the coffee pot on and the lawn chairs out for our community members to gather and chat.

Our book collections include a large gardening section along with Maine authors and topics and fiction for summer reading.

We've just completed the first phase of "sprucing up" the interior of our library and hope you'll drop by, take a look at the progress, and take out a book :)

In partnership with Simmering Pot and Healthy Peninsula, we sent out more than 100 bouquets to homebound residents in our area, which covers the Blue Hill Peninsula, not just our founders' location on its tip.

Last week Anne G and I checked out the current bloom at Thyua Garden. It’s a perfect time to visit as many of the dahlias are in full bloom. Julie Boardman.

Join us Tuesday at St. Francis (on the Hinkley Ridge Road -Rte. 177, north of Blue Hill) at 2pm for Leslie Clapp's lecture and slides about the migration of Monarch butterflies. All are welcome and will be amazed.
