Good Morning, sorry to share more sad news. My/our good friend ...whether you knew her or not passed away.

Service is Saturday and there will be a party in her honor in a few months with all the things she loved to share.

Good Morning! There was talk of some people coming out today, even some musicians. I will be out there today mowing. Liz Angleton Allen will be there after 4 cooking up 3 pounds of chicken. So if anyone wants to come out and visit, sit by the pond, explore the two new roads I've been working on. You are welcome to come and hang out. It is a spectacular piece of property, I loved sharing it with all of you.

Despite having rain 8 of the last 14 days, including yesterday morning the fields are in good shape. Actually look better then they have for years!

This is from 2009 at The Gregg Theater. Lilttle Joe McLerran and Eden Brent did a duet at the end of the night that was a blast! This was before Liz made the CQ Blues for above the stage.

Sunday we had Magic Slim, The Insomniacs, Eden Brent and Jason Ricci.

I am missing you all! We had great, dedicated volunteers from all over northeast Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas. These people made it possible. Belief in doing something for everyone, behind the scenes. This was a festival by fans and for fans of live music. What the musicians always brought was far more than we can ever pay them. Support live music and we shall meet again!

Good Morning!

The decision has been made to end. The Chautauqua Hills Blues Festival, the passion of my life the last 21 years can no longer continue.

It really has been an amazing journey - we met people, we brought people together, we had great experiences and we have more friends. What more could anyone ask for, thank you all.

Good Morning! I am sure glad I didn't postponed the festival like so many suggested! Anyway - I am going to be out there on the festival grounds spending the night - if anyone want to camp or come hang out please do!

Well that’s a wrap folks!! What a blast we had this weekend playing the Chautauqua Hill Blues Festival in Sedan Kansas. This is a pic from our trip to the Buffalo Ranch yesterday with John Nemeth and the Blue Dreamers. Thanks to Greg Wilkenson and all the folks who made it happen. Headed to Tulsa airport to fly back home to Florida and start a Fla tour with Anne Harris. Good times!!
