Sedalia Community Cafe Our volunteers offer a free evening meal every weekday. Partners with United Way and Open Door.

In 2006, Kristen Allcorn, a Smith-Cotton High School student, visited a soup kitchen in Kansas City, Missouri. Touched by the need, she felt called to bring the service to her own community. The Community Cafe continues to be managed by high school volunteers.

Thank you to Smith-Cotton's FBLA for serving last week! They also put together an annual paper goods drive to help support the Cafe and keep our paper good costs down! These girls are some wonderful young leaders that will go on to do even more great things after they graduate!
