The first Medal of Honor Recipient from the Vietnam War has recently passed away. His military career started with the US Air Force then moved to the US Army. Watch and learn about "service before self."

Col. Roger Donlon, the first Medal of Honor recipient of the Vietnam War, has died at 89. Col. Donlon was honored for his extraordinary courage in battle running through gunfire to care for wounded soldiers when his unit came under attack. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
