Not Charm out here showing why she's Employee of the Month! 💚🦮 If Charm is here at the Pettis County Mental Health Coalition meeting then you should too!!

At this meeting we commune with community partners about how we can continue working together to strengthen mental health resources and support throughout our community.

She (and the human attendees of the meeting) love to make new friends and connections. We welcome your insight, experience, and partnership are more important than ever. Whether you have attended every meeting or it's been a while since you've joined us, we invite you to come reconnect, share updates, and help shape the direction of our coalition efforts.

This meeting is an opportunity to:
💚 Network with community partners
💚Share current programs, resources, and challenges
💚Discuss emerging mental health needs in our community
💚Explore opportunities for collaboration and community impact

The work we do is strongest when diverse voices come together around a common goal - improving mental health and well-being for those we serve. If you're interested, we'd love to share more information about the next meeting.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet many men struggle in silence due to stigma and the pressure to appear strong.

This month, lets remind the men in our lives that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether it's talking with a friend, reaching out to a counselor, or simply checking in with someone you trust, every conversation matters.

💙 Strong Men Ask for Help.
💙 Mental Health is Men's Health.
💙 You Don't Have to Carry it Alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available. Let's work together to break the stigma and build a healthier community.

The parents in this documentary all had one thing in common: they never thought they would lose their child to addiction.

"We never thought it would happen to our child."

Those are the words echoed by countless parents affected by opioid addiction and overdose.

Many families don't see the warning signs. Some don't know what to look for. Others believe addiction happens somewhere else - to someone else's child, someone else's family.

Not My Kid is a powerful documentary that shares the real stories of parents, individuals in recovery, and families whose lives were forever changed by opioid addiction. Through their experiences, viewers gain insight into the signs that are often missed, the impact addiction has on loved ones, and the hope that recovery can bring.

Addiction does not discriminate. It affects every age, every background, every neighborhood, and every family.

If this documentary helps one parent recognize a warning sign, start a conversation, or seek help for someone they love, it could save a life.

Take the time to watch. Share with someone you care about. The next conversation could make all the difference.

Not My Child is a film about substance use disorders. Which means you are inviting parents to an event on a subject that they probably don’t want to think about. And that’s okay. The intent of the film, and the screening event you are hosting, is to help parents understand the seriousness of top...
