We will start wrapping presents at 1pm. We will be wrapping them in Mark and Marys garage. That is one of the stops on the Poker Run. The corner of Field St and the Benson Blacktop (first entrance into Secor). Hope to see everyone there!

SHOPPING IS COMPLETE!! It only took about 4 truck loads! Big shoutout to all who went out and stormed the stores for presents!

We will be wrapping presents December 3rd at the Secor Sportsman's Club. We could use all of the help we can get to wrap! We will meet out there and start the fun at 1pm.

Bring some wrapping paper if you have any to spare. We will have paper, scissors, tape, and chairs/tables handy. Hope to see some people there!!

🚨SHARE SHARE SHARE🚨

After our 16th and final Golf Cart Poker Run, we have a final tally! Because of all of you that supported the Secor Golf Cart Poker Run by donating money or by coming out and participating, we were able to raise $11,000!!!

That is $11,000 that will go to help families in the area that could use some help around Christmas. $11,000 worth of toys, clothes, books, and anything you can think of kids ask for. $11,000. All because you came and helped, joined, or supported our cause.

With the $11,000, we will be contacting the local school to get lists like we have in the past. This year though, we wanted to try and help as many people as possible.

So if you or anyone you know is in need of some assistance with Xmas presents, please message this page. There are plenty of families that don’t submit their names, plenty of people that might think ”someone else could need it more”, and plenty of families left to help. So please reach out!

Every kid deserves a memorable Christmas. This is 100% discreet. We have a “wish list” form we will send once you message the page. Black Friday shopping is coming up, so reach out!

16 Years…. Wow.

From an idea Kelly Turner and Lauren Fry had 16 long years ago. The thought of bringing together a few people to raise a little bit of money for a family in need. Little did anyone know, 16 years later, we would have our FINAL Secor Golf Cart Poker Run.

16 years of riding. Rain or shine. Cold or hot. From 100 people to 300+ people. From $5k to $25k. From the first 5 stops, to the last 7 stops. From popcorn balls to cheese cakes. From a Clydesdale horse draw carriage to electric powered bar stools. We’ve seen it all, and we’ve been through it all. From people falling off golf carts, to maybe having just a little to much to drink. From packed house bags tournaments, to 8 team championship series. And of course, who could forget the fire extinguisher year….

Through all of the good times, and the not so good times, one thing stayed the same. The overwhelming support we have received from all of you. Everytime we called you came. Everytime we needed a stop, someone volunteered. Everytime we needed help tearing down at the end, you helped. Everytime we needed another team for bags, you came. Everytime we needed food for the potluck, you cooked/baked. When we needed an auctioneer, you stepped up. Whenever we needed anything, you all showed up to have fun. To raise money for those in need. To see people you haven’t seen in years. Whatever the reason was. You came. We can’t thank everyone enough for that. You are the reason we were able to make something so amazing, last for so long.

To our stops, we literally couldn’t have done anything with out all you. Thank you for opening up not just your doors, but your lives for us. Putting everything else on hold because it was Poker Run day. Thank you for the love that you put into it every year. Thank you for the meatballs, the ham and beans, the live music, all of the hammerschlagen, the Jell-O shots, the pickle backs, the hand made wooden furniture, the bathrooms, the signs, the shelter from the rain, and allllllll of the apple pie!

A big thank you goes out to the village of Secor as well as all of the residents. Thank you for letting us take over the town for a weekend. For being understanding of the whole thing. Thank you for knowing what took place every year, and knowing it was much bigger than just a fun time. Thank you for helping us move tables and get the building unlocked and set up. Thank you for being Secor. Because there isn’t any other place I can think of that would let all of this happen.

Over the years there has been so many different people that have helped out, or pitched in, or showed support no matter what the conditions. Thank you to everyone that falls into any of these groups. Most importantly though, thank you for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. From the first year, to the 16th and final year and all of the years in between. These have been some of the most unforgettable times, and we really can’t thank you enough!

We will have a total all figured up here in the next day or so. Please keep an eye on this page still in the future.

TODAYS THE DAY!!!!

It’s been a year long wait, and the Secor Golf Cart Poker Run is finally here!!

Pick up your golf carts at the communi building in Secor! Keys will be in the golf carts unless you’ve asked us to hold yours. Please only touch the carts WITH YOUR NAME ON THEM!!!

Bags Tournament check in starts at 930, and tournament starts at 10!!

Pick up your pre-order shirts/hoodie/huggies and any shirts/hoodies/huggies you might need at the community building around 130!!

Please do your best to be respectful of Secor and the people who live here. Don’t drive through peoples yards or anything like that, and please bring a garbage bag for all of your trash. Let’s keep Secor clean!

If you reserved a golf cart for the Secor Golf Cart Poker Run tomorrow, it is down at the community building in Secor! Keys are in the ignition today! We will pull all of the keys tonight that way they aren’t sitting like that.

YOUR NAMES ARE ON YOUR CARTS!!! Please be respectful, and only take what is reserved for you!

If you want us to hold your key, send a message to this page. You will just have to pick it up from one of us Saturday.

Bring a towel and garbage bags with you tomorrow! Towel for the seat, garbage bags for the garbage!

The weather looks like it will turn out pretty nice! High of 60° and a 50% chance of rain at 6am!

For the 16th and final year of the Secor Golf Cart Power Run, we decided to try and give back as much as possible! For years, we’ve had so many people come support the Poker Run, and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. The whole idea of the Poker Run was to help someone/people in a time of need. These past few years have been really tough on families in our local, and not so local community. So this year, we are giving it back to the kids!

All proceeds raised by the Secor Golf Cart Poker Run will go towards kids Christmas presents again!!

In the past we’ve raised anywhere from $10k-$20k, and we would love to end with a bang! Let’s break our record, and make sure that everyone gets a memorable Christmas this year!
