Assembly Church

Assembly Church Assembly Church is a welcoming congregation that desires to connect you with Jesus. There will then be Biblical teaching followed by a time of prayer.

After being welcomed by one of our volunteers, you are invited to check your kids in at the welcome center to join Assembly Kids activities or find a seat in our sanctuary until service begins. A typical service will begin with about 15-25 minutes of announcements, live music and singing - a mix of traditional and contemporary songs. There are times we as a church will wait on the Holy Spirit and

linger in the presence of God. We can't wait to meet you! Please let any of our greeters or ushers know if you have any questions or need special assistance.

In Week 4 of our series, Pastor Trent Morgan explores one of the most important realities of both surfing and faith: everyone falls. The question isn’t whether you’ll fall—it’s whether you’ll stay connected when you do.

Using the story of Rahab in Joshua 2, this message highlights God’s promise to spare Rahab and her family through the sign of the scarlet cord hanging from her window. That cord became a symbol of God’s faithfulness, protection, and covenant promise. Even when destruction surrounded her, the scarlet cord identified her as someone who belonged to God’s plan.

Just as a surfer’s leash keeps them tethered to their board after a wipeout, God’s promises keep us connected to Him when life knocks us down. We all experience failures, setbacks, disappointments, and seasons where we lose our footing. Yet God’s grace, mercy, and promises ensure that our falls do not have to become our finish line.

This powerful message will encourage you to trust God’s faithfulness, remain anchored to His promises, and get back up after every setback. No matter how hard the fall, God is still holding on to you.

Join us for Week 4 as we discover how staying connected to God’s promises can help us rise again and continue the journey of faith.
