๐ŸšŒ SCHOOL IS BACK โ€” LETโ€™S KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE! ๐ŸšŒ

As our children head back to school, many will be getting on and off school buses every day. Please slow down, pay attention, and know when you are required to stop for a school bus.

๐Ÿšจ STOP FOR SCHOOL BUSES!
When a school bus stops with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, you must stop as required by Florida law.

โš ๏ธ Never pass a stopped school bus.
โš ๏ธ Watch carefully for children crossing the roadway.
โš ๏ธ Slow down in school zones and near bus stops.
โš ๏ธ Be patient โ€” getting to your destination a few minutes later is worth it.

โค๏ธ Our children are our future. Letโ€™s do our part to protect them and make sure every child gets to school and back home safely.

SLOW DOWN. STOP. PROTECT OUR CHILDREN.

Keep Your Child Safe Online

As children head back to school, many will spend more time online for learning, gaming, and connecting with friends. While the internet offers incredible opportunities, it also presents real risks. Parents play the most important role in helping children stay safe online.

Online Safety Tips for Parents:

โœ… Know the apps and games your child is using.
โœ… Set parental controls and privacy settings on all devices.
โœ… Teach your child never to share personal information, passwords, or their location online.
โœ… Remind them that people online may not be who they claim to be.
โœ… Encourage open conversations about cyberbullying, inappropriate content, and suspicious messages.
โœ… Keep computers and mobile devices in common areas whenever possible.
โœ… Monitor online activity and regularly review friends, followers, and privacy settings.

If something doesn't feel right, encourage your child to tell a trusted adult immediately.

Working together, we can help create a safer online environment for every child.
