Hurricane Dorian 5 pm update. Storm is slowing down and not expected to make landfall until 2 pm on Monday on the east coast of Florida. Also, slower movement will mean more rain ! Will update more later as changes occur.

Hurricane Dorian forecast has just changed to a much worst storm !! It's now estimated to be a category 4 storm when it hits Florida. It weekens quickly when it gets on shore, but it's also slow moving. Which means we will get more rain with it.
Current forecast is for Sebring to get around 7 inches of rain. That will once again cause some flooding here. It all depends where it comes ashore as to how much we get. If it goes to North central Florida it would better for us with lighter winds and less rain. If it goes South of us or right at us, we will get more wind and more rain.
For the residents here please make sure anything that can be blown around is put inside for both you or any of your neighbors not here. There is already lines at the gas stations and people getting water, gas, batteries and generators around here. Stock up as necessary but do it quickly.I
Looks like it will not be here in Sebring until sometime Monday morning or afternoon. If you are leaving, please let someone know. We are praying for God's help in keeping us all safe again !!!

Beautiful setting for the THHA Hawaiian Laua in the clubhouse. Pat Roland and Fran Wolfinger has done an excellent job of decorating for this special event !! Thanks again !!

Our Corn hole team from Village II and III took the Championship in our tournament against Thunderbird South on March 26, it was a good time with friends.
Our Village Champs are Bud Glass and Chuck Roach, undefeated, 2nd place Thunderbird South Glen and Barry. Thanks Sharon Glass for sharing these pictures !!!

Congratulations to Margie and Forest Ludwick. A wedding celebration was held at the THHA clubhouse to welcome them both back to Sebring. A great spread of finger foods and deserts were enjoyed by all.
