It wasn't the Highlands county Veterans council that hosted the Veterans Day Parade. It was planned and executed by a handful of DAV Ridge Chapter 49 members, the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1097 and the Battle of the band with funds from various businesses from the community. The credit for parade should go to ALL Patroitic Veterans like the Sea service museum and community organizations of Highlands County. There was too many Veterans organizations and community leaders to list, but special thanks to James Wright for putting on a Great car show, the SEBRING HS JROTC and band. VFW 4300 color guard. Motorcycle es**rt with Myron from St John's Methodist Church and his beautiful Trike. The Veterans-in-Arms VMC, the Alternative MC, and other independent motorcyclist. Special thanks to Alan Boyd and his Willy's Jeep. Unfortunately, there were also too many Veterans organizations absent from the event.
