The Sportsman’s Club and VFW members would like to thank all of the firefighters and equipment operators who came out in the early morning hours in frigid conditions,to battle the fire that consumed our clubhouse. We are grateful that there were no injuries, and neighboring homes were spared. It’s been nice to hear the community share all of the fond memories they have had, along with sharing some of the history of the building. We regret that we are now unable to provide a place for meetings, fund raisers, graduation parties, or wedding receptions. We are working to contact all of the people that had the building rented for their special occasions. Going forward, we are now working with our insurance company and discussing our future options. Thank you for all of the community support!
