Blair James McIntosh, age 18, of Sebewaing, passed away suddenly due to a medical condition on his ATV, late Wednesday night, August 13, 2025. Blair was born in Bay City on May 25, 2007 to Corey McIntosh and Crystal Herbert. He attended grade school at Christ the King Lutheran School

Hannah VanTol (VL '27) was recently highlighted in the April edition of the Saginaw Township Living Magazine! Here's what it said about her:

Hannah VanTol of Unionville is the daughter of Rebecca and Jeremy VanTol. She is a sophomore at Valley Lutheran and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville. Hannah is actively involved at VLHS, serving as a Protect Life leader and participating in Pep Club, Global Awareness, Hydroponics, varsity girls’ golf, and Symphonic Band. Math teacher and band director Rebecca Sugden shares, “Hannah is such a joy to teach! I’ve loved watching her grow in her abilities as a flautist. I know that when she’s given a task, she’s going to get it done. She has a great sense of humor, a tell-it-like-it-is personality, and is a wonderful friend to all who know her.” When interviewed Hannah spoke about her teachers’ dedication to fulfilling the mission of Valley— “Preparing students for life with Christ as our foundation!” Her favorite memory so far has been attending the March for Life, where she was inspired by the overwhelming number of like-minded individuals standing up for the unborn. Looking ahead, Hannah is excited to be an upperclassman, hoping to be a role model to younger students just as previous upperclassmen have been to her. We look forward to seeing her continue to grow and lead at VLHS!
