🐾💙 NATIONAL POLICE K9 DAY 💙🐾

Today, the Treasure Coast Police K-9 Alliance proudly honors the brave four-legged officers who serve alongside their handlers to protect our communities.

Police K9s are so much more than partners. They are trained to track and apprehend dangerous suspects, detect drugs and explosives, locate missing and vulnerable people, assist in search and rescue operations, and help keep their handlers and our communities safe.

Every day, these incredible K9s put four paws on the ground and their lives on the line without hesitation.

Behind every K9 is also a dedicated handler—a partnership built on countless hours of training, trust, loyalty and an incredible bond that extends far beyond the end of a shift.

On National Police K9 Day, and throughout National Service Dog Month, we recognize these extraordinary working dogs and thank the handlers who serve beside them.

To every active and retired Police K9: thank you for your courage, your loyalty and your service. 💙🐾

Our mission would not be possible without the support of our amazing community, and that includes Sebastian River High School Athletics for allowing us to host the Treasure Coast Police K9 Competition in their beautiful football stadium. 💙🐾

Thank you to SRHS Athletic Director Coach Amy, Principal Mr. Riskin, Asst. Principal Mr. Adams, Asst. Principal Mrs. Cummings and Asst. Principal Mr. Van Brimmer.

Because of your support, we are able to give back to the law enforcement and first responder K9 teams who give so much to their communities every single day.

Opening your doors to us gives these incredible teams a place to come together, showcase their skills and strengthen the bond between K9 and handler—all while helping us raise the funds needed to provide training, equipment and resources that help keep them safe and bring them home safe.

💙🐾 Riviera Beach Police Department K-9 Unit Came to Compete! 🐾💙

We were incredibly honored to present the Riviera Beach Police Department K-9 Unit with a donation recognizing their outstanding performance at the 2026 Treasure Coast Police K-9 Competition!

Joining us for the presentation were Deputy Chief Gordon, K-9 Officer Harvey, Captain Harrison, Sergeant Spearow, K9 Office Aldolph, Major Commond, and Chief Coleman.

Last year, Officer Ben Smith & K-9 Vox brought home a 3rd Place finish in the Law Enforcement Obstacle Course. They came back this year ready to do even better—and they did exactly that, taking 2nd Place! 🥈🐾

And Riviera Beach wasn’t finished yet! Officer James Aldolph & K-9 Shadow earned 3rd Place in the Hard Dog/Fast Dog event! 🥉🔥

There’s no question about it—Riviera Beach Police Department brought the heat this year! We are proud to recognize these teams for the hard work, training, and dedication that goes into building such incredible K-9 partnerships.

None of this would be possible without the amazing people who support our mission. Thank you to our donors, sponsors, attendees, and volunteers.
