Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Here is a little bit about Saint Patrick: Saint Patrick was a 5th-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop revered as the patron saint of Ireland. Kidnapped at 16 by Irish raiders, he spent six years in slavery before escaping and later returned to Ireland to spread Christianity. Author of the Confessio and the Letter to Coroticus, he is famed for using the shamrock to illustrate the Holy Trinity. His feast day is celebrated on March 17 worldwide.

Brother Knights, Lent is upon us! As the season of Lent begins on, Ash Wednesday, Knights are encouraged to renew their commitment to prayer, charity and self-denial alongside their brothers. In his 2026 message for Lent, Pope Leo XIV emphasized the communal aspect of prayer and fasting that is necessary for “allowing the word of God to touch our hearts.” The Holy Father continued, “Our parishes, families, ecclesial groups and religious communities are called to undertake a shared journey during Lent, in which listening to the word of God, as well as to the cry of the poor and of the earth, becomes part of our community life, and fasting a foundation for sincere repentance.” Vivat Jesus
