Dear American Legion Auxiliary Members,

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you and your families. Today, we honor the birth of our nation and reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of the courage and sacrifice of our military service members, veterans, and their families.

Thank you for your dedication to the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary and for the countless ways you support our veterans, active-duty military, and communities throughout the year. Your service shows the true spirit of patriotism and volunteerism that makes our organization so special.

May your Independence Day be filled with pride, gratitude, joy, and time spent with family and friends. Let us remember those who have served and continue to serve our great nation, and may we always cherish the freedoms they have helped protect.

The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. 🇺🇸
