We’re looking for a Tuesday volunteer! 🎨

Vibrant Palette Arts Center is looking for a steady volunteer to join our Tuesday studio sessions from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM in Georgetown, Seattle.

VPAC is an artist-led studio for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our volunteers are part of what makes the studio such a welcoming, inclusive place. You’ll sit alongside our artists, help folks get situated when they arrive, grab supplies, clean brushes, make art together, and support artists as they pursue their own creative ideas.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable jumping in, and excited to be part of our studio community.

🗞️ Big news! We are thrilled to announce that three Vibrant Palette artists have been selected for this year’s Outside Forces exhibition in Washington, D.C.!

Congratulations to Pixie, Howard Zhou, and Edward Swanson!

🎨 Outside Forces is Art Enables 20th annual exhibition celebrating self-taught artists, individuals from underrepresented communities, and artists from across the nation. The show features inventive work of extreme individuality motivated by the artist’s own personal concepts and desires, rather than the expectations of the mainstream art world.

VPAC artist Clara Nyambi finished her sculpture, Three Sisters Hugging, last week in the studio, and we are so proud of her! 💜

This exquisite mixed-media piece is full of texture, detail, and personality. Clara brought together beads, fibers, wire, fabric, and other materials to create three figures embracing one another.

At VPAC, our studio is artist-led, and we love seeing each artist follow their own ideas, make their own creative choices, and bring their vision to life. Clara absolutely made this piece her own.
