If there’s one thing Laborers know, it’s concrete! We are the backbone to building our nations infrastructure. Quality training, quality members, quality work. That’s the power of LIUNA 💪

For more than a century, LIUNA Laborers have been the backbone of concrete construction across North America.

Our craftsmanship can be found in the dams that generate electricity, the airports that connect our nation, the schools where future generations learn, the military installations that protect our freedoms, the hospitals that save lives, the bridges and highways that move people and commerce, the ports that fuel our economy, and the water and wastewater systems that protect public health.

Concrete is more than a building material, it’s the foundation of modern society. Behind every successful placement are highly trained Laborers who understand that quality workmanship today means safer, stronger infrastructure for generations to come.

We don’t just pour concrete 🤝we build the foundation of our future.

Proud yesterday. Proud today. Ready for tomorrow.

We are thrilled to have been able to witness the HISTORIC move by IUPAT AND LIUNA! We know that we are stronger together. Fighting for our members, securing our work and marching side by side. That’s solidarity! 💪 Combined, we now represent over 700,000 voices in the labor movement. Now that’s strength in numbers🤝

We don’t just talk about SOLIDARITY. We put it in writing! On the final day of the 2026 LIUNA Multi-Regional Conference, GP Brent Booker and IUPAT GP Jimmy Williams Jr. signed a HISTORIC agreement to strengthen organizing, coordinate strategy and build worker POWER together. This is what the future of the LABOR MOVEMENT looks like. One movement. Stronger TOGETHER.

Congratulations to our Sister, Mallorie Davies for being nominated as Tradewomen of the Week! Keeping up the tradition of strong women throughout our District Council!

Congratulations to , Mallorie Davies. Mallorie is the State Regulatory and Policy Coordinator for the Northwest Laborers District Council and a proud member of LIUNA Local 292.

Her story is defined by resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to embrace every new challenge!

“I started working construction as what I thought would be a summer job to pay for more college. As a collegiate athlete, I immediately connected with the physicality of construction... That pursuit fed curiosity and I fell in love with being a Laborer, and never looked back.”

Today, Mallorie is “the State Regulatory and Policy Coordinator for our District Council.” As “the first woman to hold this role,” she has become “an advocate for my union, the trades and women in the trades.”

One of Mallorie’s proudest achievements is that “I was able to have both my boys while working in the field and successfully leading a crew of 30 in the process.”

She is also proud that “In 2024, we successfully passed the first legislation in the US that guarantees sanitary conditions on job sites including access to menstrual products at no cost, women specific restrooms, and breastfeeding accommodations for when new mothers return to work.”

Thank you, Mallorie, for your leadership, advocacy, and commitment to building pathways for the next generation of tradeswomen.

TWO BIRTHDAYS IN ONE WEEKEND?!?! 'Merica! 🇺🇸 Every contract won, every raise fought for, every grievance filed. It all traces back to this day, July 5, 1936 when the National Labor Relations Act gave workers the right to organize, to collectively bargain and a voice on the job.

62 years of protection. Where the color of your skin could no longer dictate your place on a crew. 62 years where if you show up early, with a good work ethic and the desire to earn a living wage can dictate your successes on a job. đź’Ş
