The Washington Interactive Network (WIN) is a non-profit organization, which started as a program of the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County. WIN serves as an umbrella for the Interactive Media industry. Established in 2004, the purpose of WIN is to promote Seattle as a hub for Interactive Media, nurture educational institutions, and grow the Interactive Media workforce in Wash
ington State. In the last five years the organization has created and retained over 2,500 jobs and over $400 million in economic impact in the Puget Sound region. WIN currently runs the REACTOR Accelerator, Game Startup Workshop Series, Interactive Media Education and Internship Program, Interactive Media Scholarship Program, and the Seattle Independent Game Competition. We take a macro perspective of the industry to identify voids and create programming to fill them.
