Olympic Yacht Club

Olympic Yacht Club Olympic Yacht Club (OYC) is Puget Sound’s LGBTQ boating club, established in 1979. All of our meetings and outings are open to all.

Olympic Yacht Club (OYC) is the oldest LGBTQ yacht club in the Pacific Northwest
and has been an active boat club since 1979. Members home ports center around the Seattle area, but range from Olympia to Oak Harbor and Bremerton to Wenatchee. OYC is a group of 100+ members who individually own approximately 65 boats (about half power & half sail), from kayaks to ski boats to mid-size cruisers and b

lue water yachts. OYC is open to all who believe in safe boating, good friendship and respect for the environment. Owning a boat is not a requirement for membership, but that is the best way to get out on the water! The club has several scheduled rendezvous throughout the year, sometimes docking at a marina or floating peacefully at anchor. Just a few of the destinations include Poulsbo, Silverdale, Gig Harbor, Andrews Bay, Edmonds, and Des Moines marina. Many other activities scheduled are monthly board meetings (open to all), boat show outings, Pride Day activities, and land events... any excuse to have fun ! We will ALWAYS make room for an OYC member (or prospective member) at any rendezvous.
