Many of you have been asking for an update on Dr. Ali. Sadly, he is not doing well, and his family continues to face an incredibly difficult and uncertain road ahead.

When paramedics first found Dr. Ali, he was bleeding profusely and was not breathing. His condition appeared so severe that they believed he had passed away and placed him in a black body bag. It was only after he was loaded into the ambulance that they realized he was still alive and immediately began life-saving treatment.

Dr. Ali is continuing to fight, but his condition remains very serious. During this heartbreaking time, we want to come together to support the people who need us most: his wife and children. As they focus on being by his side and navigating the challenges ahead, they are facing emotional, practical, and financial burdens that no family should have to bear alone.

We are asking our community to keep Dr. Ali and his family in your thoughts and prayers and, if you are able, to contribute in support of his wife and children. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement makes a difference and helps remind them that they are not facing this alone. Reply to this post with your message for Dr. Ali.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued support during this incredibly difficult time. Please continue to keep Dr. Ali, his wife, and their children in your hearts. ❤️

A Story of Courage: Dr. Ali Hussein

At our free clinic in Sidon, Lebanon, we are fortunate to work alongside remarkable individuals whose dedication to service inspires us every day. Among them is Dr. Ali Hussein—a skilled dentist, a compassionate humanitarian, and a tireless volunteer whose commitment to caring for others goes far beyond the walls of any clinic.

For the past year and a half, Dr. Ali has given his time and expertise freely, serving patients both at our clinic and at the government hospital in Nabatieh. Driven purely by goodwill, he has treated countless individuals who otherwise might not have access to essential dental care. His generosity and humility have made him not only a trusted physician but a pillar of support for the community.

Recently, Dr. Ali’s life was put in grave danger in a devastating incident. While traveling, his car was struck by a drone attack. After being thrown from the vehicle, he was targeted again in a second strike. The severity of his injuries required major surgical intervention to his head and body.

Against all odds, Dr. Ali survived.

This is not just a story of tragedy, but one of extraordinary resilience. His survival speaks to his strength, the skill of those who treated him, and perhaps the same spirit of humanity he has shared so generously with others. Today, as he continues to recover, we are reminded of both the fragility of life and the profound impact one person can have.

Dr. Ali Hussein is more than a dentist. He is a symbol of compassion in action—a reminder that even in times of conflict and uncertainty, the work of healing endures.

We stand with him in his recovery and honor his unwavering commitment to serving others.
