For the last several yea

rs we have been collecting and distributing humanitarian aid and coordinating medical missions to the region. Our current focus is on aiding the displaced refugees that have fled the violence in their home country to neighboring countries.

Salaam Cultural Museum invites submissions for the Scott C. Davis Memorial Writer’s Grant, established to honor the legacy of Cune Press founder and writer Scott C. Davis and to support emerging voices whose work reflects the richness, complexity, and humanity of the Middle East and North Africa.
Cune Press is an independent publisher based in Seattle, Washington. We are passionate about publishing diverse voices and covering a wide range of topics, with a special focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
Now part of Salaam Cultural Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Cune Press is dedicated to promoting the rich cultures and traditions of the Middle East. Your tax-deductible donation can help support our mission of fostering cross-cultural understanding and aid the development of the Scott C. Davis Memorial Writers Fund, which supports emerging writers sharing stories about the Middle East.

Thank You for Standing With Us!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated and participated in our auctions throughout April in support of our Gaza and Lebanon fundraising campaign. Because of your generosity, we raised over $11,000 in just one month—a powerful testament to the compassion and solidarity of this community.

These funds are already making a real difference. Our programs are providing emergency aid including shelter, food, medical assistance, and other critical support to people affected by the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon. In Saida, Lebanon, our clinic has become a vital base of operations—distributing food and blankets to families displaced by war, while also delivering urgently needed medical care to those who are injured or unwell. Beyond Lebanon, your support is also helping displaced families in northern Syria with food, clothing, shelter, and essential supplies.

None of this work would be possible without you. Your compassion is reaching people in their most vulnerable moments and offering hope where it is desperately needed.

We still have a long way to go. Our goal is to raise $50,000 over the next two months, and thanks to you, we’re already just under one-quarter of the way there.
