Sound Transit Update – Our Voices Matter!
After years of advocacy from community members, organizations, and neighborhood leaders, Sound Transit has adopted an updated ST3 System Plan that keeps the Graham Street Station moving forward with full funding for planning, design, and construction. The Boeing Access Road Station will continue through final design, although its construction timeline remains dependent on future funding decisions. Current plans anticipate both stations opening in 2031.
These stations represent more than transportation—they are about equity, access to jobs, education, healthcare, and economic opportunity for South Seattle and South King County communities. Thank you to everyone who has organized, spoken up, attended meetings, and continued advocating for transit investments in historically underserved neighborhoods.
Let's stay engaged and continue holding decision-makers accountable to the promises made to our communities. Every voice makes a difference.
