Tent City3, currently sheltering 100 folks, needs an invitation to move to a new spot before August 28th.

Tent City 3 needs your help! It seems like only yesterday we moved to University Congregational United Church of Christ (45th/15th NE), but our three-month stay is almost up, and we still don't have a site nailed down for our August 29th move! We've been working hard, but so far no host site has stepped up. PLEASE, if you have ideas or suggestions, reach out right away!

And--for the first time in a LONG time--we also need your financial support! Our Tent City contract with the King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) only covers around 20% of our operating costs. Worse, for whatever reason, the KCRHA has now dramatically DELAYED its reimbursements, meaning we have to go out on a 1-1/2 to 2-month margin before getting our funding. These delays are impacting our ability to cover day-to-day costs, and we really need to rebuild our reserves to survive them. (We're REALLY looking forward to having our contracts return to the City next year!)
