What a way to kick off a new school year! Our Back to School Bash brought the HRS community together for an afternoon filled with games, treats, laughter, and plenty of fun. But the best part? Seeing students reconnect with friends, families catch up with one another, and our campus buzzing with the energy of our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the many faculty, staff, and volunteers who helped make the afternoon possible. We loved celebrating with you. Now we’re ready for the first day of school!

Six days of learning, planning, connecting, and getting ready for an incredible year ahead! Our faculty and staff are back on campus for Back-to-School In-Service, preparing classrooms, strengthening connections, and getting everything ready for our students.

We’re so happy to have this amazing group together again and we can’t wait to welcome our students back to HRS next week. The countdown is on!

In-service officially began today, and one of our favorite parts of coming back together is welcoming new members of the HRS community!

Today, we were especially excited to welcome the three educators who will make up the teaching team for our brand-new preschool program, opening this fall for children ages 3 and 4. Our preschool will create a language-rich, play-based environment where children can build strong foundations for learning, connection, and confidence.

Welcome to Heather Shappell (Lead Preschool Teacher), Kristin Karlson (Director of Early Childhood Education), and Emily Parker (Assistant Preschool Teacher).
