We were so happy to see you on Friday for Hoppers at Skyway Outdoor Cinema. As an all-volunteer nonprofit, your friends and Skyway-West Hill neighbors at West Hill Community Association have been working hard to make our summers more magical since 2003 (and doing our best to fill the gaps in the community since 1991!). We are deeply grateful to our partners and supporters who help make all this happen, and especially to YOU for your donations, reposts, volunteering, and presence. Let’s do this one more time on Friday, August 21 at 7pm in the Skyway fire station training yard. We’re playing “Wicked: For Good” with special live performances by Neon Brass Party and the Daughters of Royalty Drill Team! Also before the movie starts at 8:30, we’ve got tacos, ice cream, popcorn, candy, balloon art, facepainting, bouncers, and interactive jumbo games. See you there!!

Skyway Outdoor Cinema’s 2026 kickoff was pure vibes. Thank you to all who came out to join us, and to our amazing supporters: 4Culture, King County Parks, Motiv Real Estate, our hosts KCFD20, volunteers, and donors. We appreciate every single one of you. Don’t forget to block your calendars off for the next two Fridays! See you back at the Skyway fire station on August 14 for “Hoppers”. Fun starts at 7!

FRIDAY 8/7: Skyway Outdoor Cinema is taking over the Skyway Fire Station lot with tons of fun at 7pm and play Inside Out 2 at 8:30pm. Come feel some feelings and get there early for a good spot - bring something comfy to sit on. From 7-8:30pm, we’ve got Taco Cortes food truck, B&B Ice Creams truck, Lakeridge Elementary PTA selling candy, Popcorn Concierge, Bounce Around’s popular jumpers and giant game center, Double Dutch Divas, live performance from The Throwbacks, Fairydust Facepainting, Hatter Mike & Jeremy balloon artists, free to-go activity kits from KCP Skyway Rec Aides, and more. Don’t miss it!
