The biggest event in state history is coming to Seattle: the FIFA 2026 Men’s World Cup. The city will host six matches, expected to bring in nearly $1B and 750K people to King County. The new state budget includes about $45 million for the effort, most of which is going to improvements at Lumen Field and others around the state.
