Congratulations to Dan Miller for a well-deserved appointment to the Northwest Regional Presidency! (find the official Pi Kappa Alpha press release below)
The Supreme Council of The Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is proud to announce the appointment of Dan Miller as Northwest Regional President, effective October 1, 2012. This appointment is following the election of longtime Regional President, Brian Mann, to the Supreme Council at the 2012 Denver Convention.
Dan is a 1992 initiate of the Beta Beta Chapter at the University of Washington. As an undergraduate, Dan served his chapter as both secretary and recruitment chairman, and as vice president of recruitment for the UW IFC. Since 1996, he has served in multiple advisory roles to Beta Beta Chapter and in 2000, was named the Fraternity's Chapter Advisor of the Year. Since that time, his chapter has gone on to win five Smythe Awards. Dan currently serves on the Beta Beta Alumni Advisory Board and on the Pi Kappa Alpha UW Housing Association. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
In his community, Dan mentors the next generation of young men by serving as Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 4496, and is an assistant coach for the Bainbridge Island Little League. He is also past president of the Island Cooperative Preschool board of directors.
Professionally, Dan is Vice President/Group Account Director for Curator, a growing advertising, public relations, social media and digital communications agency in Seattle.
