We are so proud of current and alumni Hometown Nine members who hail from SCLL. Major gratitude goes to the Mariners SEA Change and Seattle Mariners organizations for continuing to host and deliver such an amazing opportunity for local youth.

This post is a latergram, but just in time for Owls week! SCLL Junior Owls player Aura threw out the first pitch at the 3/30 Mariners game alongside Mayor Katie Wilson. She told us that her arm was sore afterward, because she threw “maybe 45 or 50” practice pitches to her dad Alex while excitedly waiting in the tunnel for the big moment.

Aura played Coach Pitch as a Milwaukee Bear and is growing leaps and bounds as a Jr Owl this year; she is enthusiastically taking on 🥎 pitching, hitting, fielding, and base running. Go Aura, and GO CENTRAL!!
