We're thrilled to announce our 2026 Honorary Vintner and Grower: Gilles Nicault and Luanne Holden-Boushey! 🍾

Honorary Vintner Gilles Nicault has spent more than three decades shaping Washington wines. Raised in southern France and trained at the University of Avignon, he brought old-world roots to the Pacific Northwest when he arrived in 1994 and has been defining the character of Columbia Valley wines ever since. As the founding winemaker at .shadows, his collaborative spirit and deep respect for Washington's terroir have earned him recognition on a world stage.

Honorary Grower Luanne Holden-Boushey is a true pioneer of Washington agriculture. She began farming in the Yakima Valley alongside her husband in Grandview, transitioning from apples and cherries to a vineyard operation with roots dating back to the late 1970s. Today, she farms 28 grape varieties - a testament to her adaptability, grit, and lifelong commitment to the land that makes Washington wine possible.

Our team attended Taste Washington's The Grand Tasting this weekend and got to spend time with some incredible wineries. Come along with us as we explored their fantastic pours, tried some delicious foods, and celebrated Taste WA weekend to the fullest.
