Thank you LA!!

We showed up in June with The Sarah Gorden Soccer Clinic presented by Hood Space and BWPC.

Athletes came ready to play, learn, and connect with Sarah Gorden and special guest appearance by Emily Sams (Madril).

We love a supportive teammate 🫶

Coaches from the ACFC Coach Network, Black Women’s Player Collective, and Hood Space created a fun, inclusive, and empowering soccer experience designed for players of all skill levels. This community clinic is inspired confidence, teamwork, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game both on and off the field.

Athletes also enjoyed a guided yoga led by Mikayla Campbell | NIKE TRAINER | NASM-CPT | RYT-200 and wellness component to support both the physical and mental well-being of young athletes.

Yes, parents joined in as well 🧘‍♀️

At the heart of this clinic was shared commitment to creating greater access, visibility, and representation in soccer.

For 19 days leading up to Juneteenth, we celebrated the impact Black women have had on soccer through player spotlights, stories, and community conversations. As we honored Juneteenth—the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Texas in 1865—we also invite our community to “Put $5 On It” in support of BWPC’s mission to increase representation, access, and opportunity for the next generation.

We appreciate everyone who has already put $5 on it and helped move this work forward.

For 19 days leading up to Juneteenth, we celebrated the impact Black women have had on soccer through player spotlights, stories, and community conversations. As we honored Juneteenth—the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Texas in 1865—we also invite our community to “Put $5 On It” in support of BWPC’s mission to increase representation, access, and opportunity for the next generation.
