It has been ONE YEAR since our brave classmates and community members took action in solidarity with Palestine and against the University of Washington’s ties to the genocide of our peers. They were violently arrested and the students were emergency suspended for 8 months, under accusation that they were “safety threats.” The UW33 are now facing criminal charges.

See you today 1-4pm outside of the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building, to write letters to Palestinian student prisoners, grab some snacks, and remind ourselves, our classmates, and the university of what we all already know:
Palestine will be free, from the River to the Sea

Save the date!! SUPER UW and Seattle Families for Palestine are hosting a Mother’s Day fundraiser market for refugees in Southern Lebanon on Saturday May 9th, 12-3 at Wesley Club near UW campus.
We will have fresh flower bouquets, card making, letter writing to Palestinian prisoners, art, baked goods, and more!

UWPD arrested a student organizer today, during a protest against right wing zionist commentators on campus— as part of their long history of repressing and targeting student activists. UW has chosen to preemptively comply with fascism at many points in the past few years especially — from violently arresting 33 of our classmates and community members LAST spring, to now this!

Show up tomorrow, to tell the University we will never be okay with this, and that to target one of us is to target us all!

Zionists have been attacking us online again, accusing today’s mutual aid fundraiser of being material support for terrorism. They have also written in the Jerusalem Post that by hosting freed Palestinian prisoner Read Abduljalil at Saturday’s culture fest, we are hosting a terrorist. Both claims are racist and untrue!

This comes amid increased fascist repression against our communities here in the US and genocidal campaigns in Iran, Lebanon, and Palestine. We understand that the only way to fight this repression is together!

We are calling on our community to show support for Palestine, Lebanon and our solidarity movement by showing up to tonight’s film screening and Palestinian Cultural Resistance Festival THIS Saturday April 25th, and donating to mutual aid efforts in southern Lebanon!

The university allowing an iof soldier to speak on campus, to students, exists directly within the context of our administration authorizing dozens of armed riot police to violently arrest Palestine protesters last year

and THERE ARE NO UNIVERSITIES LEFT STANDING IN GAZA— tens of thousands of our peers have been and are being martyred in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran, by people like “noa cochva.”

Tomorrow is Palestinian Prisoners' day with Nidal at Cherry Street Village to honor the steadfastness of our political prisoners. Tuesday, the 21st is a fundraiser for Lebanon where we will be screening The Last Sky. April 25th is our annual Palestinian Cultural Resistance Festival, get your tickets now in our Linktree! FUNDRAISER FOR LEBANON! Join us and several other organizations for a movie screening of The Last Sky. This movie is about the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and the Lebanese resistance to zionism, with content from the past few years. With the recent escalated attacks on Lebanon, it is a crucial time to raise funds for mutual aid in Lebanon as well as deepen our understandings of the Lebanese resistance. At the screening there will be food and merch for sale so please come with cash preferred. The entry fee is $10-20 sliding scale. Venmo and Zelle are options as well.
