Code.org® is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by young women and students from other underrepresented groups. Our vision is that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core K-12 education, alongside other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses, such a

s biology, physics, chemistry and algebra. The leading provider of K-12 computer science curriculum in the largest school districts in the United States, Code.org also created the annual Hour of Code campaign, which has engaged more than 15% of all students in the world. Code.org is supported by generous donors including Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, the Infosys Foundation, Google and many more. Our goals include:

1) Bringing computer science classes to every K-12 school in the United States, especially in urban and rural neighborhoods.

2) Demonstrating the successful use of online curriculum in public school classrooms

3) Changing policies in all 50 states to categorize CS as part of the math/science "core" curriculum

4) Harnessing the collective power of the tech community to celebrate and grow CS education worldwide, to change culture, especially among women and other underrepresented groups. Our values are:

1) We believe computer science is foundational for all students

2) We are committed to equity, access, and opportunity

3) We believe in the power of a collaborative education community

4) We are agile and responsive to feedback

5) We act with integrity and transparency

6) We believe broad impact requires thinking big and acting holistically
