We are back online! Seattle Housing Authority has assumed management of the STAR of Seattle Computer Center from Full Life Care. While the computer center REMAINS TEMPORARILY CLOSED, the page will be an available resource for community updates.

03/12/2020

Unfortunately due to the ongoing Coronoavirus infection mitigation efforts and guidance from the health departments and CDC, the STAR Center is going to closed until at least March 31st. Full Life Care has extended the closure of all our Adult Day Health sites as well. This is unfortunate for everybody but we must follow the guidelines. We will let you know when the Star Center will open again. Thank you for your cooperation. John

Free event in February at Seattle Center. If you'd like more information, there is a movie this Saturday, January 11th at Kenyon Hall in West Seattle.

Hello Star center Facebook friends. This is John one of the volunteers. I just wanted to send a friendly reminder that the Star Center is open 1 to 5 M-F until the end of the year. There will be no classes available until next year.

I encourage everybody to come in and take advantage of everything Star Center has to offer. There are several computers with lightning fast internet connection so you can get all your computer tasks done. Feel free to come in and watch movies, videos on YouTube, play games, and listen to music. To name a few things.

If you're visually impaired we have excellent software like Zoomtext and Jaws that makes it easier to use the computer. Of course we always have friendly volunteers that can help you out with any of your computer tasks. We will be happy to help you out with anything that needs to get done!

Thank you and I hope to see you soon at the Star Center computer lab.
