Picture Perfect Queen Anne

Picture Perfect Queen Anne PPQA is a volunteer-powered neighborhood nonprofit organization working to revitalize the streetscape of Queen Anne Avenue from Galer to McGraw Streets

PPQA has worked steadily over the last several years to improve our neighborhood. Highlights include:
1. PPQA and the community collaborated with SDOT who provided major funding to create the gardens at Galer and McGraw.
2. The Seattle Times power washed and consolidated newspaper boxes and moved them to less crowded locations.
3. PPQA installed two benches in front of the Gilbert Building with fu

nds from the OED grant.
4. PPQA installed a bench and a small garden at the corner of QA Avenue and Boston with funds from the OED grant and Ravenna Gardens
5. PPQA partnered with the Queen Anne Windermere office to remove trash, w**d tree pits, replace plants and clear gutters along the entire length of Queen Anne Avenue.
6. Pedestrian crossings along QA Avenue at Boston, Blaine and Galer have been restriped.
