Kesem at Seattle University Providing free Kesem summer camps and year-round peer support for children impacted by a parent's cancer in Seattle and the greater Washington community.

Kesem is a diverse community led by passionate and empathetic college students working to ensure that children facing the challenges of a parent’s cancer have space, connection, and support to rediscover the joys of childhood. Our mission is to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with free, fun-filled creative programs and a lasting community. Camp Kesem at Seattle U was foun

ded in 2017 and supports children in the Seattle (and beyond) community by providing Camp Kesem, a free week-long summer camp experience, and year-round Through and Beyond support services. Our chapter is operated by student volunteers and serves campers ages 6-18 per year. Kesem operates at more than 130 chapters coast-to-coast. Its programs and services are all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

Stop by anytime between 8 PM – 12 AM and mention Kesem at the door to get a stamp. The Chieftain is open to all ages until 9 PM, and karaoke kicks off right at 9 🎤

Kesem provides free, year-round support for youth impacted by a parent’s cancer, including a transformative week-long summer camp, and none of it would be possible without your support ✨

Come help us fundraise, bring your friends, and be part of something meaningful, we can’t wait to see you there!
