Dear Friends of Roosevelt High School,

As we come to the close of another year, we are filled with deep gratitude for your generosity and belief in the students of Roosevelt High School. Because of the steadfast support of many, the Roosevelt High School Foundation has now invested $1,851,753 directly into our school-- fueling learning, creativity, equity, and opportunity for tens of thousands of students.

This year alone, generous gifts made an extraordinary difference across classrooms, programs, and student experiences. Through Foundation grants, Roosevelt students can explore, create, and thrive.

This school year, donors are helping the Foundation fund:
-A transformative Mt. Rainier educational trip, connecting students to science, environmental stewardship, and place-based learning
-Writers in the Schools, nurturing student voice and creative expression
-New musical instruments and school spirit gear, building pride, community, and access to the arts
-Microscopes, water filtration for labs, specialized paper, and updated textbooks, expanding hands-on learning and academic rigor
-PE equipment and classroom supplies supporting the distinct programs across the school
-Sensory items and mental-health supports to help students feel regulated, supported, and ready to learn
-Newspaper printing and ASB scholarships, ensuring student leadership and journalism remain accessible to all
-A Summer Institute, providing enrichment and continuity beyond the school year
--And much, much more!

Behind every grant is a student discovering a passion, a teacher bringing a lesson to life, or a young person feeling seen and supported. Your generosity doesn’t just fund programs—it opens doors, sparks curiosity, and affirms that every Roosevelt student deserves access to a rich, well-rounded education.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community of support. Your partnership strengthens Roosevelt High School today and helps shape the leaders, thinkers, and creators of tomorrow.

If you have not already made a tax-deductible donation to the Roosevelt Foundation this year, please do so before December 31! Your gift will be matched! Donations can be made from the link below, or by calling 206.226.5679.

With sincere appreciation and warm wishes for the year ahead,

Dear Friends,
As families continue to face economic uncertainty, the Roosevelt High School Foundation and the RHS PTSA are stepping forward with additional resources. We want to ensure that our students can stay focused on learning—not on the challenges that come with meeting basic needs.

In addition to the funds we provide annually in classroom grants, student support, and supplementing the school budget, we hope to raise an additional $15,000 in emergency assistance to help Roosevelt families with food this fall.

Safeway gift cards will be distributed through the school to those in need-- allowing families to make the choices that best meet their needs and reflect their values and cultures. Thank you for helping send a message to our students that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by a community that believes in them.

Every gift is meaningful and will provide nutritious food to RHS students who need it most. Any additional funds raised beyond the need will be donated to the school's food pantry to provide ongoing food and necessities.

Donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated. Please donate from the link below.

With sincere gratitude,
The Board of Directors
