As the world finds a renewed appreciation for the Odyssey this summer, our scholars are also learning Odysseus’s epic journey. The Odyssey is one of the core books our scholars read each summer in literature class, and many scholars even choose an excerpt from it to perform their oratory at the end of their second summer! 📖 🌊

Woo! Go Sophia!!

Meet Sophia, a student at Mount Rainier High School who will be joining our team! 👏 We're excited to partner with the Rainier Scholars program as Sophia joins Washington DECA for a six-week marketing internship.

Throughout the program, she'll gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing by supporting social media, branding, analyzing our outreach efforts, and helping us bring an authentic student perspective to our communications.
