ASUW Pacific Islander Student Commission

ASUW Pacific Islander Student Commission The ASUW Pacific Islander Student Commission exists to empower, support, and bring together the Pacific Islander community at the University of Washington.

Welcome to the Pacific Islander Student Commission (PISC) page! As part of the Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW), PISC strives to support all Pacific Islanders that attend the UW by coordinating and implementing various programs for the community. It is also a political and cultural safe space where Pacific Islanders from all walks of life are able to express who

they are to the UW community and bring awareness to the meaning of Pacific Islander identity. We are people of the ocean who trace our ancestors to those who navigated the global oceans. As students of the UW, we navigate this university ocean to bring success to our communities and provide a brighter future for the next generation of leaders. We are MANY! We are ONE! We are PASIFIKA!
